Terms of use & contact
Ziercular is free, unlisted and closed by referral; these terms exist so that expectations on both sides are written down.
Contact point
Ziercular is operated privately by a natural person domiciled in Switzerland. We publish a permanent contact address and answer it:
Boris HoferPostfach
4800 Zofingen
Data-protection matters go to the address given in the privacy notice.
The terms
- What this is
- Ziercular is a private, invitation-only circle offered free of charge. There are no dues, no joining fee and no paid tiers. It is not a public forum, not a media outlet and not a marketplace; it is not open to registration without a referral code scanned from a member.
- Who may use it
- Members must be at least 18 years old and must have claimed a valid referral code. Accounts are personal; credentials and referral codes may not be shared or transferred.
- The club organises nothing
- Members share places they favour and hours they intend to be there. Ziercular books no tables, holds no venues and runs no programme alongside any conference. It is neither host nor guarantor of anything that follows from a meeting between members.
- Conduct
- Nothing said in a direct thread or a place thread is attributed outside it. No press, no recording, no screenshots of member correspondence. Unlawful content, harassment and commercial solicitation end a membership immediately, as does misuse of another member's data.
- Content and responsibility
- Members are responsible for what they write, share and arrange. Messages are not pre-moderated; we act on reports and on the referral chain, which attaches every account to the member who vouched for it.
- Availability and liability
- The service is provided free and as-is, without warranty of availability or fitness. To the extent Swiss law permits, liability is limited to intent and gross negligence. Nothing here limits rights that mandatory consumer law grants members in the EU/EEA.
- Ending membership
- You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms. A member who issued a referral code may recover it, which deletes the account that claimed it - this is stated at registration.
- Law and venue
- Swiss law applies, with the ordinary courts at the operator's Swiss domicile, insofar as no mandatory jurisdiction protects a consumer in their country of residence.
